Dr Gagan Singla

Dr. Singla is a highly accomplished veterinarian with a diverse background in veterinary science and medicine. Having earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2012 and a master’s in veterinary medicine in 2015, Dr. Singla embarked on a successful career in the field. Prior to relocating to Canada, Dr. Singla gained valuable experience working at Virbac, Glaxosmithkline and served as a Vet Officer at GADVASU Polytechnic College.
In 2020, Dr. Singla obtained a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) license and has since been dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care in Canada. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Singla finds joy in his personal life, being happily married to his beautiful wife and the proud parent of a 3-year-old son. In his leisure time, he indulges his passion for sports by actively participating in or enjoying them as a spectator.

Dr Amanda Maclean

With over 14 years of extensive veterinary experience, Dr. Mandi is a seasoned and highly skilled professional. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of veterinary care, ranging from emergency care to general practice. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to sharing her knowledge and nurturing the growth of aspiring veterinarians and Registered Veterinary technicians (RVTs).

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Mandi is a devoted mother to a beautiful daughter, and her furry shadow Mokey. Dr. Mandi’s profound connection to animals also extends to several horses. Her unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality of care and maintaining the utmost professionalism in the field is a testament to her commitment to the well-being of both her patients and the veterinary community.

Dr Averil Almeida

Dr. Averil is a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian with a lifelong love for animals. Her journey into the field of veterinary medicine was a natural progression driven by her early fascination with biology. Dr. Averil’s passion for animal care was evident as she dedicated her weekends and vacations in high school and university to volunteer at a small animal clinic, honing her skills and knowledge.

Dr. Averil pursued her dreams and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Nairobi, beginning her professional career in Kenya, where she cared for a wide range of animals, including companion animals, exotics, and even ostriches. After relocating to Canada, she continued her work focus.

Kira - Practice Manager

Kira is a seasoned professional in the veterinary field, bringing a wealth of experience as a practice manager with six years of dedicated service at Douglas Square Pet Clinic. Kira started in the clinic as a volunteer. She worked as a Tech Assistant for a couple of years before earning the title of Practice Manager.

In her personal life, she has a bustling household with four children ranging from two to ten years old, along with four beloved pets. Amidst her busy schedule, Kira finds solace and joy in the equestrian world, indulging in her passion for horseback riding.

Her multifaceted life is a testament to her commitment to both her family and the animals and clients she cares for in her veterinary practice.

Jaxson - Vet Tech (RVT)

Jaxson is a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), having earned his credentials from Olds College in June of 2023. In addition to his professional expertise, he maintains a rich and vibrant personal life.

Jaxson loves a diverse group of pets, including a cat, a bird, and a horse, showcasing his love for both domestic and equestrian animals. When not tending to his furry and feathered friends or working in the veterinary field, Jaxson explores his artistic side through painting, channeling his creativity onto the canvas. Furthermore, he is a passionate enthusiast of pen-and-paper Dungeons and Dragons, immersing himself in the world of tabletop role-playing games. His unique combination of skills and interests reflects his multifaceted and well-rounded personality.

Pam - Vet Tech (RVT)

Pam is a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), having graduated from Olds College in 2007. In her personal life, she shares her home with a vibrant mix of three cats and two lovable dogs. Pam is not only dedicated to her furry family members but also to her human one, as she is happily married.

With a multifaceted career, Pam professionally grooms’ pets on the side, ensuring that they look and feel their best. In addition to her grooming work, she serves as a locum RVT, providing her expertise and support to multiple veterinary clinics in Calgary. Her wide range of skills and her commitment to the well-being of animals are a testament to her passion for her profession and her love for pets.

Furthermore, Pam extends her influence beyond her direct work, as she has been an incredible mentor to fellow RVTs and TAs across multiple clinics. Her willingness to share her knowledge and experience with others demonstrates her commitment to advancing the veterinary field and nurturing the growth of aspiring professionals.

Michelle - Receptionist

Michelle is an exceptional receptionist who brings a warm and inviting presence to our veterinary clinic. As a lifelong pet owner, Michelle understands the unique bond that exists between pets and their human families. In addition to her role as a pet parent, she’s a loving mother of two children, showcasing her dedication to family life.

when not assisting clients at the clinic, Michelle cherishes quality time with her family, which includes a dog and two cats. her love for animals extends beyond the workplace, as she often enjoys horseback riding, indulging in her equestrian passion. In her social life, Michelle relishes moments spent with friends, creating cherished memories. With her cheerful disposition and genuine love for animals, Michelle eagerly anticipates meeting and caring for all your furry family members.

Georgia - Receptionist

Georgia is not just an amazing receptionist she’s also a skilled and compassionate dog trainer. Her home is a testament to her love for animals, with a family that includes an impressive count of five pets. Among them, there are four lovable dogs and one charming cat, showcasing her unwavering commitment to the welfare of her furry family members.

In her professional role as a receptionist, she offers exceptional service to both human and pet clients, ensuring a warm and inviting experience. Simultaneously, her expertise as a dog trainer allows her to make a positive impact on the behavior and well-being of these cherished companions. Georgia embodies a true passion for animals, both in her personal life and her professional endeavors.

Larissa - Tech Assistant

Larissa is a dedicated veterinarian with a rich educational background and a passion for animal care. Larissa earned her bachelor of veterinary medicine from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil in 2019. Following this, she pursued further academic excellence, completing her master’s degree at the University of Calgary in 2023. Currently, Larissa is diligently working towards obtaining her DVM (Dovtor of Veterinary Medicine) license here in Canada.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Larissa is a loving dog owner who understands the importance of pet companionship. Beyond her veterinary work, she enjoys expressing herself through dance, regularly attending dance classes such as Zumba and Brazilian dance. her multifaceted interests and commitment to the well-being of animals make Larissa a well-rounded and compassionate veterinarian.
